Dear YASO musicians,
We will be continuing YASO rehearsals throughout the summer on a somewhat modified basis. Because we have at least 2 concerts waiting for confirmation in October (looking at the 3rd week of October); and our big fundraiser: Christmas Extravaganza Dinner and Concert on Dec. 6 (waiting for confirmation from Anthony Haney), plus other concerts, we will be working through the summer on music for both concerts. We have a lot of music to work on and some of it is very difficult, as you know.
This will be a showcase of your awesome work over the last almost 3 years. More and more young people are interested in joining YASO, and it is very exciting! Here is the schedule of YASO rehearsals through July. Please let me know of any that you are unable to attend. It is VERY IMPORTANT that all are at these rehearsals unless you are out of town with your families on vacation.

Most of you had a part in the Student Recital held on May 21. You did a wonderful job of performing. I was so proud of you. Thanks to Miss Peggy and Mr. Bill for the addition oftheir students in this program. What a wonderful group! For those of you who missed it, we had piano, violin, viola, cello and double bass students. I have heard raving reviews about you from those in attendance. Thank you teachers, students, and parents.
Please encourage friends and family to become members of our blog: youngartistsstringorchestra.blogspot.com
God's Blessings,

Who are we?
We are a group of kids from South Florida, ranging in ages from 6 - teen years. We meet weekly for rehearsals and perform special concerts throughout the year. We perform classical music, melodies from musicals, Christmas carols, and traditional American songs.
