Who are we?

We are a group of kids from South Florida, ranging in ages from 6 - teen years. We meet weekly for rehearsals and perform special concerts throughout the year. We perform classical music, melodies from musicals, Christmas carols, and traditional American songs.

First Rehearsal Next Wednesday!

Dear Young Artists, Parents, and Friends,




Next Wednesday, September 8, is our first rehearsal of the season at 5:00 P.M. We are looking forward to a great time together. This first rehearsal is very important. I trust the new students will all be here and perhaps some music teachers, as well. If possible I would like at least one parent of each of the students present for this rehearsal. Music teacher Peggy Essex-Klammer will be with us again, of course, as my Assistant. All the fundraisers are ready to go. Chris at Family Violin Shop in Valrico is donating new music folders for each of you. If you know of any students and parents who might be interested, please encourage them to come to this rehearsal. I have some plans for special additions to our programs this season. Our first concert is scheduled for Dec. 2, as part of a Community Christmas Extravaganza Dinner, hosted by the LP Conference Center. Tickets will be available for you to sell at this rehearsal, as well as the T-shirts and Ryann Watters books. Please call me with any questions at the phone numbers below.

    This is an awesome ensemble! These students are extremely dedicated and a pleasure to work with. I'm blessed to have the opportunity to be associated with Ms. Diane as well as the entire YASO!
