Who are we?

We are a group of kids from South Florida, ranging in ages from 6 - teen years. We meet weekly for rehearsals and perform special concerts throughout the year. We perform classical music, melodies from musicals, Christmas carols, and traditional American songs.

Christmas extravaganza

‪‪

Dear young musicians and families,
I had a meeting with Anthony Haney yesterday about another Christmas Extravaganza,
to be held at the Lake Placid Conference Center.  People are already asking about it for this year.  The dinner
donated by the Conference Center was delicious, served by volunteers like you parents, who had
sore feet after that evening. The decorations were wonderful – like stepping into a Christmas wonderland.So....we are scheduled for our 2011 Christmas Extravaganza on December 15 (Dinner and YASO concert). Please mark your calendars.  That is a Thursday evening.  I especially thank Anthony Haneyfor his help with this Fundraiser for our string orchestra.

Amy Finke will be making up the tickets again this year.  A special thanks to her for all the hard
work she did last year, and I am so happy she agreed to do it again this year.  We hope to have tickets
for you to sell soon.  They will be the same as last year:  Adults – $12; Children – $6.

If you need more information, please call me.  Our rehearsals between now and then are very important,
so thank you for making every effort to attend all the rehearsals.  The Thanksgiving weekend rehearsal
will be cancelled.  Otherwise, we will be in session every Friday evening at 4:00.

Yours for a great season!
Diane and the wonderful professionals that help make this possible (Peggy and Bill)

P.S.  Don’t forget – one more rehearsal of Fiddler on the Roof for the performance  at the Judge Kelly
Gala for Champion for Children on Sept. 22 (Thursday).  Wear navy blue YASO shirts with tan pants/skirts.
Place:  Grace Bible Church, 4453 Thunderbird Rd., Sebring, FL
Time:  7:15 P.M.
There will be reserved places near the door where all musicians may park.
